Open to: All low cost carriers that first flew on or after January 1, 2007.

Judges will be paying particular attention to:

  • The marketplace into which the entrant launched (including particularly challenging factors, if relevant)
  • What the person / team launching the airline did in getting it off the ground that was particularly
    noteworthy
  • The specific routes / services launched, and market response
